Just as good for the mind & body is this drink. The protein powder can be added if you are looking to use this shake as a meal replacement – it surprisingly kept me pretty full!
Dates & Vanilla Chai {Protein} Shake
Makes 2 Servings
8-12 Ounces Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Frozen Banana {peel and slice THEN freeze}
1 Cup Freshly Brewed Chai Tea {allow to cool}
2 Scoops of Vanilla Protein Powder {or 1 per serving} –optional
2 Tablespoons Chopped Dates
Approx. 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
Pinch of Sea Salt
Ice Cubes
Blend in a high-powered blender until smooth and drizzle with raw honey or agave for a bit of extra sweetness
