Featuring: DIY Shiplap!

It’s coming together!

Our gender neutral nursery is underway! {Do you know how tired I am of the phrase ‘gender neutral’?!} While we are busy scooping up interesting art pieces, installing shiplap walls, converting rockers, and hanging curtains, I thought I would share the actual inspiration board that I made for Halliday Baby’s first room!

After the ‘Bright & Bold’ vs. ‘Light & White’ decision, we found that a light and white color scheme just felt like the best decision for our home. We never wanted the room to feel too cute or ‘baby-ish’ so we are using furnishings and accents that honestly would fit in with any of our other rooms. However… we haven’t been able to resist some adorable elephant and giraffe figurines!

So here it is! Mixed metals, lots of texture, creams, ivories and whites + a little little bit of minty vintage green.
