the first dinner party

This past Friday I hosted all the girls over for a little dinner party to celebrate Emily’s engagement {and to say goodbye….she moves to San Fran soon}

No lie, Mason invited himself into this picture

Some updates of the place:

my lovely chair topped with a stack of beautiful books

our tv center is finally done. pictures are hung, lamps are painted and SMASH is on {best show!}

we now have a guest room and bathroom!

This time infused with freshly sliced ginger and mint sprigs

plus plenty of triple sec and white wine

yummm!

Sadly, I was too busy hosting and having fun with my girls to take pictures of our meal. But I did the main course and made Mahi Mahi, Salmon and Chicken {everyone loves options!} with a Spicy Citrus Salsa topping

Diced jalapeno, chopped orange bell pepper, chunks of pineapple

Topped it off with some strawberry slices and a bit of agave
